VMM is representing the family of fallen FDNY firefighter Captain Hans Meister in Article 78 proceedings against the Fire Department, to compel recognition of his sacrifice as a Line of Duty Death (LODD). The dramatic case has received ongoing media attention.
On Dec. 14, 2020, grandson Charles Meister was interviewed on the Jim Bohannon Show national podcast to discuss the case and VMM's efforts to achieve justice in Captain Meister's name.
