The LI Herald (Herald Community Newspapers) announced their 2025 "Top Lawyers of Long Island" recognitions. VMM received four awards, including Top Law Firm of Long Island—for the seventh consecutive year!
The LI Herald Top Lawyers awards are given annually to “Long Island’s best and brightest legal professionals.” VMM is the only firm to be named Top Law Firm in its size category all seven years since the awards began.
In addition, three VMM attorneys received individual honors:
- Managing Partner Joseph Milizio was renamed "Top Lawyer of Long Island 2025" in the Business & Transactional category, for the second consecutive year.
- Partner James Burdi was named "Top Lawyer of Long Island 2025" in the Estates & Trusts category.
- Associate Kristine Garcia-Elliott was named "Top Lawyer of Long Island 2025" in the Rising Star category.
