Constantina Papageorgiou is a partner in Vishnick McGovern Milizio LLP’s Wills, Trusts, and Estates Practice. Her work focuses on Trust and Estate Planning, Trust and Estate Administration, and Elder Law.
Ms. Papageorgiou assists individuals and families with asset protection and long-term care planning through advance directives and various planning techniques. She also provides legal counsel to individuals and families with the administration of estates and the liquidation of a deceased’s assets.
Her practice additionally focuses on estate planning and guardianship matters for young families, as well as Adulting 101℠: Life Preparedness for Young Adults.
Her passionate advocacy for her clients and sharp business acumen have made her the youngest partner in the firm’s history.
Ms. Papageorgiou frequently conducts educational seminars on estate planning and elder law for community organizations in both English and Greek, with the goal of informing and motivating individuals to engage in estate, tax, and Medicaid planning to protect themselves and their assets.
A native New Yorker, Ms. Papageorgiou’s parents are immigrants from Cyprus and the proprietors of the famous Zenon Taverna in Astoria, Queens, where she can frequently be found working with her family. She resides in Astoria with her husband, a medical malpractice defense attorney, and their two children.
